Ideal Design Signature

Petrina chose to define her design signature in an abstract, high-level conceptual format, rather than identifying concrete values within the process. This ideal design signature serves as a framework that can be adapted to different contexts and needs. The chosen values are in the top and bottom layers, and the middle layers represent the different activities of the process. These activities vary according to what kind of project is being done, whether it’s a traditional design activity or something less standard, like cooking. This process is not linear, and the direction is ambiguous. The white connection lines show how she can cross over between steps and values. See the back of the postcard for the key and other details!
