Design Inspirations

Julian’s postcard uses an abstract quilt to represent his design process: wander, play, focus, repeat. He was inspired by a quote from Barbara Tversky, who said that good designers wander, play, focus, and repeat. The postcard can be read from left to right, top to bottom, or as a whole. Each block represents one of those four components from Tversky. The postcard demonstrates patterns of Julian’s behavior. See the back of the postcard for the key and other details!
