For this postcard, Lubna captured her process for writing a paper using an asynchronous capture on the Design Signatures app. It was a lengthy and complicated process for her to go back and look at her notes from the past two quarters while writing this paper, and as she started putting together the asynchronous capture she realized that she missed the generating ideas step entirely; she wasn’t able to pinpoint when she was generating ideas. Lubna’s postcard depicts a mountain range with colored lines on top corresponding to the color-coded stages. It shows how the various steps she took might come into focus in the foreground or recede into the background, but that none of the stages are ever entirely finished.
