IB needed to synthesize her research results into three slides, which was a difficult task, and she used an activity log to track her process. In her postcard, the different colored pathways represent her attempts (some lead to dead ends), and changes in color on the same path represent changes in her approach. Dashed lines represent places where she took a break from her work while dotted lines represent times when she asked for feedback. On the successful pathway that goes from start to finish, you can see IB received feedback towards the end of the path (indicated by the dotted lines) and changed her approach (change in color).
