For their concurrent capture, this anonymous designer investigated their process for designing a cup of coffee. They used narration as a data capture method and created an abstract representation of that data. The colors show broad patterns in their process—the yellow rectangles represent preparing, the red rectangle represents waiting for water to heat up, and the blue rectangle is the brewing process. The symbols in each rectangle show what actual actions are being taken (for example, the spirals in the blue rectangle are for brewing), and each symbol also represents 15 seconds. Overlapping colors shows that the designer was multitasking. See the back of the postcard for the key and other details!
